Sol Retreat, Birthday Revolution & Fundraiser

The Sol Retreat turned out to be a great community building experience, where each and every one of us situated ourselves in natures elements – some out of our comfort zones – and contributed to a thriving pop-up community. Collaborators, Stephanie Joyce, founder at Compassion Guide and Cartidius Vaughn, founder of Yawa Spa Yoga,  created a diverse program that touched on personal growth, healing, creativity, intention setting, and nature.

Activites included Yin yoga, rock painting, glam tents, plant walk at the Thousand Palms Nature Preserve, hot springs, intention setting, fire ceremony, and delicious high vibe food in a family environment.

People came from all walks of life to come together to share this experience. We thank everyone, attendees, volunteers, land owners, donors, and sponsors for joining us and helping us to raise awareness for our outdoor program, A Way With Nature. We had a total of 15 people attend our first event.

What a great way to kick off the 2023 camping season!
