A Way With Nature is a unique 3-day nature immersion program primarily focused on serving disadvantaged and vulnerable* communities at no cost to participants. No camping gear? No problem. Stewards will set up guests in one our canvas bell tents, prepare wholesome meals, and teach camping etiquette in a hands on community setting. This fosters a supportive environment which inspires the love of self and nature. Most of the camping retreats are held on public access lands in off-grid locations without the luxuries of electricity or wi-fi. This setting allows guests to “unplug” from technology so they can explore, grow, heal and connect with themselves, the earth, and others.

A Way With Nature is designed to take the financial, emotional, and mental stress off guests so they can fully enjoy the wilderness experience. Our model is likened to an all-inclusive retreat that provides the basic needs – food, water, shelter and outdoor education – only it is entirely funded by donations.

The environment pushes us to challenge ourselves, get out of our comfort zone, gain confidence, and make memories that will have an lasting impact on all of our lives. We encourage campers to make their own decisions, have fun, seek adventure, and most importanly, to be themselves.

Currently, we are hosting small groups in California but plan to expand our capacity in 2023 and the years to come. At this time, all minors must be accompanied by an parent or guardian during the retreat.
